If it's just calories in and calories out, what stops me from living on sugar water and olive oil with some whey protein and vitamin capsules? Is this a feasible idea?
>>
Not a nutritionist, but your body needs variety of molecules from many different sources to work efficiently.

Calories in calories out is more about weight loss, where as overall health comes down to having a nutrient-rich diet.

You need diversity of fatty acids (efas, sat fats, mufas and pufas) and fiber.

Also micronutrient bioavailability from vitamins is meh
That bwing said you COULD get skinny on such a diet.

You would just feel like malnourished garbage

How efficient are we talking about? As far as I know people have been living off fish or potatoes their entire life.
Would such a diet be simply sub optimal or would I get all sorts of medical problems?
>>

Oats in morning, peanut butter sandwich with 2 eggs for lunch and a litre of almond milk, chicken broccoli and rice for dinner with a handful of walnuts. Repeat for rest of your life and you'll probably be the healthiest mofo you know.

I don't care too much about that, I just want to live without having to buy kitchen supplies or cooking while being cheap and not dying of malnutrition.

Doesn't mean it is healthy, perhaps they could have lived 20 years more if they have been on a better diet.

It is like saying that there is nothing wrong with smoking, since some people can make it to 100 years smoking a ½ pack daily.

You would be shitting fucking liquid sludge if you did this you retard.
>>

No because each dietary fat has a different job in the human body, some are used as grease, some for hormones, some for immune system. olive oil wouldn't be enough variety of fat.
You can live solely on whey protein for a protein source.
Micros have to be ingested from food sources for the most part, I don't know off the top of my head which vitamins or minerals though. Using vitamin e for example, vitamin e when supplemented did not help anyone maintain vitamin e levels. While those who ate nuts with vitamin e did.

Maybe you should try that "Soylent" food replacement stuff. I've been meaning to try it purely out of curiosity (I cook and enjoy good food - wouldn't want to live on it), but I haven't done it yet.

no it doesn't. you can live on meat and have literally no deficiency at all.

ive got a buddy who drinks it. he loves food too, but he works a labor gig and is on his feet for up to 12 hours at a time. sometimes he just doesnt have time to sit down with a meal so he busts out the soylent and has it on the go. he seems to enjoy it and its really helped him stay fueled on the job. i personally dont see a use for the stuff outside of situations like this, as well as feeding 3rd world countries like mexico

>former fatty, down from 280, not a fast burn as it was over 5 years
>websites tell me my maintenance goal is 2,100-2,300
>aim for 1,000 a day
>even after months of doing this, stomach still looks like my belly button it trying to eat itself, flab and jiggly
P-please.. when does it end..
>>
>>38090839

>a bit of this a bit of that

Just go all out you fucking faggot. Half measures are for losers, and you will remain a fat ugly bitch for the rest of your life if you don't step the fuck up
>>
>>38089510
Take away sugars, milk, yogurt, cheese group, meat, poultry, fish, eggs and you are good to go. Just don't eat too much bread and pasta that's it mate.

It is not just calories in and out, there is a different between calories.

>>38090453
That is idiotic. Try it, get a test, live on meat only, just for a month, get a test after as well. Most of your organs will be fatter, your veins and circulation dying and your chance of diseases skyrocketing.
