Pendlay Rows
Do you ease them down or drop them? Why?
If you drop, do you ever feel like a douche making all that noise in the gym?
Pros/cons to both ways?
Substitution for PR in SS?

Yates are superior.
Kroc is superior
>>38082276
Do you think they could be used effectively as a substitution in an SS routine?
>>38082301
Eh. Not the same.
Superior to a one arm row or a seal row, sure. Nothing can replace a good barbell row
>>38082358
Yes, 1000%

Thank you anon. You were not a faggot today.
I much prefer the way that looks like it feels to the Pendlay. As a 6'4 tall fag, I truly hate being bent over more than I need to be (no homo).
You are confident that making the swap wont be compromising to my gainz or my body?
what's that row where you're laying on a bench and the barbell is underneath
heard that's supposed to be the best one
>>38082535
Chest supported.

Seal Row
Pendlay rows or power cleans for SS?
>>38085093
Yates, nigger.
Pc are great too, just not as a main lift.
If you dont do pc, add shrugs or sumthin
>>38085093
power cleans
but a good program has both
>>38082264
Just do Tbar
>>38085093
Different exercise
I've always felt that replacing p cleans with rows is like replacing dead lifts with bench press
>>38085362
>>38085368
Would you both agree treating power cleans as a main lift is rather silly, and as an accessory is GOAT?
>>38085397
Nope.
>>38085397
depends on goals, for strength building I Think its fine it adds in slightly more back and shoulder work which is lacking in SS.
If you just want to be actually /fit/ it 100% should be a main lift, if you want to look /fit/ its a better accessory or just not at all.

>Rows
>SS
Pick one
I bet you don't even power clean
>rows
>not chin ups
functional strength bitch. look it up.
>>38085431
>not doing both
they train slightly different muscles groups
its like saying 'Why train OHP when you bench'
