how to tell if a normie is gonna "make it" when it comes to weightloss/fitness?

>referring to it as a "change of their diet" instead of "going on a diet"
>>

You don't, just treat them as failures until they prove different but don't discourage.

Just when you see the guy at the gym asking you for help, help him but keep in mind there's a 90% chance you won't see him after 1-2 months.
>>
>they're even leaner a year after they met their goal

Also, if they truly hate themselves they'll probably make it.
>>
If you see them make significant changes/gains without them always talking about it. People who are gonna make it dont talk about it, they just fucking do it.
>>
>>38080072
>Making assumptions about other people's futures

What are you a woman
>>
If they go to the gym and don't post about it every single time on kikebook
>>
>>38080072
anecdotal evidence at best
>>
>>38080072
People who never got /fit/ think that counting calories is autistic and hard, and that protein shakes taste horribly.

Once you realize how easy and tasty those things are, anyone can make it.
>>
>>38080164
>tfw hearing fat roommate say "counting calories just... doesn't work for me"
>>
>>38080072
They don't make a big announcement about changing their body but simply do it.
You can notice that they eat differently and seem to struggle a bit or are at peace with that
They don't do the same things as they used too or do them completely differently like instead of watching television they've gone outside and started doing something active.
Their interests change and turns toward somethings that require or necessitate a more fit body or more effort to do.
LIke instead of just watching sports or playing games about sports they're are trying to play it in real life.
Exercise and fitness culture are part of their everyday life and not just a thing they do when they go to the gym.
>>
>they go to the gym on shitty days (storm, snow, ice, etc.)
>they have no junk food or a very minimal amount in their house
>they read fitness related articles/books regularly
>they don't fucking brag every other day on social media about going "beast mode" or "thinspo" bullshit
>they don't have ill-will towards people who are already in shape
>they're successful and accomplished in other parts of their lives
>>
>they don't talk about it. Just do it
>Don't allow "excuses" for their priorities
>They know more each time they talk with you
>>
>>38080702
>LIke instead of just watching sports or playing games about sports they're are trying to play it in real life.
Not gonna make it, sports requires cardio.
>>
>>38080816
>they don't have ill-will towards people who are already in shape
the number of non-loathing fatties is so limited
>>
>>38080164
>People who never got /fit/ think that counting calories is autistic and hard, and that protein shakes taste horribly.
It is autistic but not difficult. Protein smells like shit, taste is drinkable and texture is like shit.
>>
>>38084521
Maybe if you stop eating shit, you'd find an better protein supplement, faggot
>>
Honestly if they exercise and diet for more than a month they are most likely going to make it.
>>
>>38080649
Same.
A fat friend 'counted calories' but saw 'no results'.

Fuck I hate fatties
>>
when they do 30 minutes to an hour of cardio daily
>>
>>38084521
protein tastes completely neutral even without any flavoring. how do you be that much of a manchild?
>>
>>38080702

>Exercise and fitness culture are part of their everyday life and not just a thing they do when they go to the gym.

Jesus that sounds fucking awful
>>
biggest one is that they don't talk about what they're doing, they make it happen.

exception is when they ask for advice or recommendations, which is usually done pretty discretely
