My arches are collapsing when I squat more than 50kg, any tips how to fix this? I get knee pain from it when I squat more than 60kg.
Pic related. I'm a bit like the one on the left, but not as extreme.
your adductors are tight m88

Oh, also when doing more than 60kg, my hip shifts a bit to the right, when going up.

Imbalances, do one leg stuff
You have low arch in feet most likely. Possibly weak glutes. I have this same problem mostly on one side. I've been having to do some remedial exercises to strengthen the gluteus medius on that side. Still trying to think what I can do about the pronation. I feel like a high insert would help but I don't know how well that'd work out with flat shoes.

with which leg? the left or the right?

Both, the idea is if one leg is weaker it will tear more than the other leg and thus grow stronger, if you just do the leg thats weak you may make it stronger that the other, hold both legs to the same standard

I see. Nice to know, thanks.
Any tips on what to do? I don't have a leg press at home.

One leg squats are great obviously cuz its way harder but also you need to balance so support muscles in your legs are firing like crazy
Train doing squat holds with no weight, just sit down and hold the squat position like a Slav ...no joke, learn to adapt to that position and do some goblet squat hold in the bottom position. Your hips should open up

Also i forget what its called but you put a resistance band around your shins than crab walk left and right

Where do you get them

Do you have flat feets?
>>38073811
Literally tight adductors/weak abductors, almost certainly nothing to do with your arch.

Can't you just train those body parts and fix the problem?

Why do 99.999% of oly lifters do the "varus" thing where they push their knees out super wide?
Esp. When snatching
