Hey guys, quick question for anyone who knows their anatomy/physiology:
Is it possible for a subluxated rib to obstruct proper retraction of the scapula?
Pic related, I'm pretty sure this guy was awarded an honorary PHD in exercise physiology in 2003 for his extensive knowledge and application in the field.

Okay
Med school fag here
It really depends on how bad it is, which direction it moved and which rib, obviously it can sublaxate outward, so it can get in the way of scapula retraction, but at that point you would be in a lot of pain anyway

So you wrote yesterday and no suggestion to improve.
Are you high right now med school guy?

I've had it happen pretty bad before, where any expansion of the rib cage was painful (at the front). Can't remember which rib it was. But at the moment I'm just getting discomfort on the left side when taking deep breaths etc. I've also noticed that when I fully retract my scapula, it feels like there's something there on the left side which isn't on the right.
I've also had problems with my Sc joint on the left side due to incorrect retraction.
Does it sound like this might be the problem?
Please respond
How do I get big Mike? SS?
