>Lifts are literally going DOWN even though ive only been lifting for two months
I give up to be honest
Stop caring so much about numbers and your life will be better. Yes i did just spew some fat acceptance-esque shit, yes it will benefit you , no gains aren't as simple as just seeing numbers go up and down.

Eat more on lifting days.

I'm cutting because I'm a fatass
Push yourself and get adequate sleep

No one ever said making gains was a linear process. I'm sorry if that's the impression you got.

So you know the answer
Do not think about any progress while cutting - it will come while bulking by itself
Been lifting for 4 years in total.
In my 3rd year I some how got weaker than I was in my first 18 months, but now I'm the strongest I've ever been.
I put that down to attempting to lift while consuming less than 100g protein a day in an attempt to save money on protein. Since bringing my protein back up my lifts skyrocketed.
then give up, and accept your fate

Not doing well initially (or all the time) isn't failing. Giving up is failing. Failure is a conscious choice on your part, don't chose to fail.

don't choose to fail*
