Haven't been in the gym for 2.5 years. Have gotten skinny fat. I'm thinking Stronglifts to get back into it, does it look like I should start at a deficit or maintenance? Want to cut the fat and tone. Doing hiit on off days

If you were drinking a lot before, that'll easily go away if you quit any alcohol for a week or 2, and you'll look less bloated, that explains why you look so fucked for your height/weight.

The 1200 is just from booze on top of the probably 1600 I was eating a day. I'm going to eat 2000 a day now.
