Is most whey that is sold as a protein supplement an actual byproduct of the cheese making process or is it produced just for protein mixes?
>>37990791
It's not expensive. It's literally a fraction of a dollar per serving, as in $30 of whey should last you well over a month. Unless you're poor as fuck that should be a relatively negligible expense.
>60 bux for 11.5 pounds
>expensive
What fucking planet are you on?

>not eating four scoops
The demand for whey isn't high. Just find the right sellers, preferably wholesalers who don't have a middleman.
I pay $90 for 10lbs WPC from a local wholesaler. I use to pay $150 for 5lbs of ON WPC

Whey is a byproduct of making cheese but making it into whey concentrate/isolate is what you're paying for
>>37990791
Oh yeah also want to say that prices aren't determined by production costs, they're determined by a function of supply and demand. Production cost is only one small aspect of supply. Don't be a fucking retard.

>how do I supply and demand?
jesus
>>37990791
It's pretty cheap for what it is.
I don't even have a job.
