>been cutting for 6 months
>tracking every calorie I eat religiously
>decide to take a "break" from it and eat at maintenance
>decide I'll eat maintenance for 2 weeks then go back on cut
>it's now been 2 months since cutting and I keep saying I'll start again next week, but I just can't go back
What the fuck do I do, it's like I regained my fatty mentality. At first I couldn't even eat my 2500 cal maintenance after cutting, but now I feel hungry even after eating 2600+. Good news is I have actually lost about 7 pounds since eating at maintenance, I just can't go back to eating 2000 cals again.

Have some goddamn self respect and self control, or you're never gonna make it anon
start cutting again, dont hate yourself for taking a break we all have periods of laziness and carelessness. How bad do you want it OP?
There's an infamous saying in 12-step fellowship groups that I feel is applicable in this situation:
>A thousand is too many and one is never enough.

I want it bad famalam, but I also want those extra 500 cals. It's like I've lost all my motivation
>>37982398
not OP but my problem is my body is "good enough" and I'm getting laid all the time and my numbers in the gym are decent so I have no motivation anymore.
Feels like I already made it, whats the point?

Sounds like ur fine being mediocre. If it makes you happy then stay that way
>>37982464
to be cliche, "stagnation is death"
just remember how good it feels to improve
but your stats and goals are pretty important to this discussion. height, weight, gender, and intention. because if you're a dude, if your maintenance calories are 2500 you may as well continue eating at maintenance and building muscle, otherwise known as body recomposition.
>lost 7 pounds since eating at maintenance
sounds like you're still cutting, dumb fuck
>>37982967
Yeah, but I'm afraid to go any higher right now tbqh
>>37982385
what are your stats? height/weight?

Just fuckin do it, the longer you eat at """"""maintenance"""""" the longer you'll have to do without any gains.
