I recently quit the sweet mj. Its hard man, especially in today's society where you work hard, come home, and suddenly there isn't really anything to do. So naturally, smoking is something that seems very appealing in such a scenario.

What I've found that helps me is to keep myself as busy as possibly throughout the day.

I kept the hash oil (easier to vaporize > less risk of PAHs) and ditched the stoner/party culture.

Stopped hanging with my stoner (read: all ;_;) friends.

Mostly only do it on rest days to keep my tolerance up absurdly high, as i find a dab before every challenging set adds either 5lb or 1-2 reps. Not entirely sure why, but my working hypothesis is the vasodilation leads to increased delivery of glycogen/atp synthase/creatine phosphate from the sarcoplasm to the actual muscle fiber as it contracts.
Purely speculative, and unfortunately i have yet to convince my friend (only one guy i know who lifts - no gymbros cuz homegym) to try it so i can attempt a single-blind study (terpene oil placebo as control) on him. Just to see if it a figment of my delusion or not. Anyways for that reason i find myself needing to maintain a high tolerance, or i am too stoned after like 5 worksets

I quit weed a couple months ago and feel great! No just kidding I crave it everyday and son't know if I will ever full get over it. Don't know what to tell you man, its tough.
