Does anyone here on /fit have a stiff neck all the time? I figured I have mine because of lifting, since when I quit the gym for 4 months the neck stiffness was gone and I didn't have to stretch/pop it all the time.

What could be the problem here? Bad form?

Any /fit/izens with the same problem?

Its regularly caused by having a small penis.

I guess 5'5 just doesn't cut it snymore

Do you squat? It can be the weights that fuck up your Cervicals.

It depends, wrong form could overdamage muscles to produce trigger points in them, twist vertebrae's slightly which causes pain
You could also be very unlucky and naturally have a lot of trigger points in your neck area

You probably have forward head posture and anterior pelvic tilt, like pretty much 90% of this site's userbase.

Which means your posterior neck muscles are like half the length they are in a normally postured human, which results in constant stiffness, since just standing up counts as "stretching", and exercise is an overexertion.

I swear every single "I have pain in this muscle" question ever made on /fit/ can be answered with "You have FHP/APT"

Heavy deadlifts will stretch it out for you

PT has me do upper back and rear delt work and it always fixes my neck
laying reverse flies, face pulls, etc.

Most likely this. You're not engaging muscles necessary when lifting, so your neck compensates.

Yeah, you have forward neck posture most probably. The pain from lifting comes from your cervical spine being out of alignment and pulling your upper back forward. You probably have sholder pain as well.
Start doing some double chins, see a othopedic doctors if you have money/insurance. If it gets any worse you will probably herniate and then you are fucked.
