That was just a joke. My right arm has gotten a lot bigger while my left arm is always stalling behind and it's starting to be a noticeable difference. I think I'm going to switch to dumbbells.

Half TOTAL weight is a good starting point when converting from a barbell exercise to Dumbbell until you have the hang of it.

On exercises where you do alternating reps, start with your weak side first so you don't end up doing 15 reps strong side, 8 reps weak side.

For exercises where you do reps both sides at the same time, focus on the mind/muscle connection of your weak muscle. The strong will follow automatically as long as you keep the weak in check.

Example, you bench 80kg barbell, start out with 20kg dbs and work your way up.
