If you stretch sore ligaments you risk to rip them.

That's the whole point. Stretch within reason. If you go and work out causing all these microtears, then sit on your ass for 2 days, your hamstrings will heal in a shortened position. You need to keep stretching them periodically to maintain length.

if you stretch ligaments at all you risk ripping them. trick is to stretch correctly eg if you do a toe touch and feel it in the back of your knees you shouldn't do that, stretch calves and stretch hammies in some other way.
