My bench is stuck on 70 kg what do i do? I do 3x5 2 times a week + accessory work.
Been stuck for 3 weeks.

like other anons said make sure your nutrition and sleep is sound. after that analyze where your sticking point in bench is and hammer it out. if it's your lockout try floor presses, increasing tricep strength etc. i broke through my bench plateau by varying intensity, increasing volume, and trying different exercises. also make sure you add in some hypertrophy work for chest in your routine

I switch it on thursdays, 3x5 OHP, 5x5 bench at 90%
Then, following monday, I'm able to do 5 more lbs on bench. OHP progresses slower desu
I add incline DB bench, one tricep workout, and sometimes another bench workout

my squat stalled because my quads were too weak, or so i thought. when i looked further into the problem i realized it was sort of a confidence issue. by using a leg press i was able to train my quads what a heavier load felt like so i didn't freak when i squatted

board presses will give you the same effect. if you don't use boards then bench in a squat rack and use the safety bars to catch the bar. basically, you're decreasing the range of motion in a safe manner and giving yourself the ability to load the bar with a far heavier weight than you're used to, which allows your body to begin to adapt to it.

so, if you're struggling with 70kg you could work with 72.5-75kg on board presses once a week to acclimate your body to a higher weight
