i've had three lifting phases

2013, joined a gym and used machines only. got surprisingly good results considering i was a fucking retard and only used machines, whilst intermittent fasting so i could eat Chinese noodle boxes or charcoal chicken and chips daily

Late 2014- mid 2015, where i threw my back out at work and could not walk for a while, then had to start again with very low weights and a lot of stretching and mobility work. got up to a 60kg bench, 85kg squat and 100kg dead lift before my injury.

this phase where i've been power-lifting really only started November at the earliest. I had a 45kg squat, a 55kg bench, and didn't deadlift at all until January.

so i git a 1rm PR instead, added 2.5kg on my squat max and got a 125kg squat

Monday - Sqauts felt amazing. The high bar pause squats have a godsend in fixing my lowbar.

Wednsday - Bench felt e z. Deadlifts went up great, ended up hitting a 5rm at 385 instead of doing my last triple. Still really low compared to my 1rm.

Doing my next session in a couple hours. Looks like a cozy deload, which is needed cause holy hell this program is tiring.

It's too fatiguing for me to do them, that's the only explanation I can think of, going from a 5 RM 1.5 times a week to doing more volume than I've ever done before. What would you suggest? So imho:
I'd suggest doing 3-5x3-5 @ 65/70/75 on the paused deads and squats. Wendler lists this First Set Last variant for paused squats and bench, so why the fuck not for deads. Also, trying harder is no meme on the paused deads.
Also for squats, when you're done with building up to real percentages for the BBB work (i.e. 65-75), start cycling the reps as per Variation II - 5x10, 5x8, 5x5. If you're feeling mad, do 5x10 all three weeks, but [spoiler]you won't make it on a cut[/spoiler].

If I were to hazard a guess, caloric deficit restricts CNS efficiency/activity. Measuring CNS activity/recovery/whatev is done through testing grip strength. Sensing a faltering grip in the deadlift leads your CNS to limit your strength (aka strength inhibiting response). Hence your deadlift regresses.

Yes, and when you dry them, expose them to oxygen, store them at room temperature, then exponentially more so. Same with nuts, dried milk, dried egg, fats, etc. And besides the known nutrients, plants contain many compounds whose benefit in the diet science still hasn't fully quantified.
