If you lose 10 pounds and don't see SIGNIFICANT changes in body-composition you:

A) are extremely obese
B) just lost mostly just water weight, not actual fat

If you lose 10 pounds, it doesnt mean you lost 10 pounds of fat, or 10 pounds fat + water. You may have lost muscle too.

Any weight loss is not purely fat loss. There are more components to your weight than just muscle+bone+fat.
