Hey any tips for a post workout recovery
I always feel like hell after I work out nausea headaches the works so I was wondering if anyone here could help a brother out
So far I've quit eating before I work out
I hydrate well
And I jump into a cold shower to let the adrenaline shock do its work
But I still feel a bit shitty after

Eat fruits, such a banana, pineapple or kiwi. Quick carbs and fruit sugar should keep you on the level until you have a propper meal and actual recovery can take place during your sleep.

Protein synthesis practically doubles if you have protein before a workout. You need energy for your workout as well so stick carbs in there. I always eat before and after, even if it's just a small amount.

I usually bring fresh avocados and other veggies with me to the gym. I'll make my famous homemade guacamole right there in the squat rack in between sets. All of my fellow gym goers can't get enough of the stuff
