Usually people wear them when their hair is unkempt or gross-looking.

My hair always looks terrible but multiple people have told me I look like a school shooter when I wear a beanie.

it compliment the 'dont look at me' look. hoodie-hood on with the beanie almost covering the eyes.

I use this one in the pic when I'm in the gym.

Just pull it up over the head and wham! No more long hair messing your eyes / vision and no sweats dropping on your face to sting your eyes.

i do it cuz head bands look fuckin gay, and hate working out with product in my hair cuz then it mixes with sweat. and keeps me hot through exercise, more thermogenic thus burning more calories.
