It's more technique than simply stance. Of course, it's not doable if the stance is too narrow or the bar is too high, but it's not simply an issue of "widening your stance".
That guy's stance is as wide as it needs to be, and he's both pointing his toes out and opening his knees on the descent. If he wants to limit knee travel, that's a technique issue, not a stance issue.

Depends how you row. The issue is your anterior muscle is stronger than your posterior muscle so that your shoulders natural potion is forwards because your anterior muscle is pulling them forwards.

Your posterior muscles should always be stronger to keep everything naturally resting back

Forgot to mention that if your posterior deltoid share weak then you'll have forward shoulder.
Face pulls are great for targeting posterior deltoid, but tricky. Don't do it too heavy or you'll fuck it up probably.

Not sure what it is. When i force my knees out on the way up i can feel it a lot more in my aductors. But i think i can still somewhat feel my quads.

When i allow my knees to cave in, then i dont know. The set becomes really easy so i primarily feel it on my knees, since its the most intense feeling and no muscle is working maximal.
But it cant be good, because i can feel that there is weight on my knees the moment it happens. I can feel the pressure.
