Let's settle this once and for all... How much protein do you actually need? I know the standard bodybuilding ratio is 1 gram per 1lb of body weight, but I've heard that you can go as low as 80g per day without any impact on your gains

From what I've read, the absolute maximum any study has shown anyone to be able to utilize is .86 g/lb. That's for high level weightlifters.
Realistically, you can probably do .5-.7 and get the same gains.
I challenge anyone to show me a study suggesting benefits from more.
