Multiblade razors are trash. Those bics are okay but I use a safety razor now.

I only ever get a good shave if I let hot water run over my face in the shower for a few minutes. It's usually smooth as butter after that. I can't just lather up and go.

They're better and usually get a closer shave than those dumb Mach razors with 10 blades or whatever. Safety razors are the best if you want to be a hipster, but the single or double blade disposable are ok.

Multi-blade gilletes seem to fuck my face up less than a safety razor.
Maybe I just suck at shaving though.

I rinse my face with hot water a couple of times before I shave, never had an issue. I only cut up my neck mostly, not really the face.

I was googling and I read the you should use the razor upside down when shaving the neck because the hairs grow differently, didn't have this issue with the bic though

All razors are relatively the same.
