I don't think so, the force at the breakpoint doesn't seem to be strong enough to actually send the bars flying upwards and impale you or slice your chest.
Remember that, with deadlift, you would only be endangered for the first 1/3rd (?) of the exercise. The moment you get the bar to your knees you are completely safe and even on from the starting point to your knees you are way too close to the ground for the bars to move much up, chances are they would just fall down immediately. The reason why they fly so up in the video is that the weights force fast descend on their end and so the other ends go vertical, rather then shooting up menacingly with amazing force.

I'd be more afraid when rowing than deadlifting.

You wouldn't have such a weight loaded, and as it is higher, the momentum of rotation would be higher as well while falling, most likely hurting you in the fall.
Maybe not smashing your head in, but it would definitely crush you someplace.

Some bars are rated higher than others, depends on the quality control and the tensile strength.

Generaly cheap bars bend, they don't break, but a bar too hard or with a weakness can break and it's not pretty to see.

This guy was lucky because he was backsquating, not front squating. And the weights fell on the other side of the rack, not on his feets/legs
