I'm already doing deads so I've got that base covered. I can see it being bad to substitute diddys, but is there much to gain from adding something like donkey kicks?

You could just target your glutes exlusively, but then you'd have a massive ass and nothing else.

I can vouch for pistol squats adding glute size. Somehow using only one leg seems to activate the glutes more. You have to go ATG, or all the way down, though. Going to parallel isn't good enough for targeting the butt.
