Experiencing discomfort under left armpit, towards shoulder blade. Occurs after waking up, or standing up from sitting all day at work and tilting head down. Goes away after. Some days it doesn't come up.
Is this a severe nerve damage and I should never lift again(havent lifted in almost a year)?

I've been trying to do stretches and shit but it's not helping. I've had it on and off for years. I legitimately don't know what to do.

I got the same thing dude. Last year I pulled whatever muscle from doing a pull up, I'm pretty sure mine is the teres minor. I've even finished rehab and it's still not healed, I'm pretty sure I tore it or really badly strained it.

Hopefully yours is just a knot which you can get out by myofasia release and stretching. If it's feeling good do some teres minor/major exercises as well as general rotator cuff exercises
