Hi /fit/
Two questions.
Does the order in which perform some exercises matter? Like,Biceps/Triceps day... can i start with whatever exercise i want or there are exercises that are meant to be made first? or last? does it matter at all?
Two: Bench press,i dont care about lifting 2pl8,i want hypertrophy or whatever its called,should i even bother or there are better ways of getting that zyzz chest?(i do other stuff for my chest as well,not just bench)

Biggest/most demanding exercises first. These are usually compounds like the squat, bench, dead and such.

Compounds first. Then isolations.

For example, you don't want to do tricep extentions and lateral raises before your OHP because you'll under perform the more important lift.

Wednesday: Legs
Thursday: Shoulders

Order does matter, but basically there are different ways of ordering.
You can do biceps triceps, youd want to move inbetween the two muscles during your exercises, this is called an agonist-antagonist split, basically opposing muscles(believe it or not your legs are like this), there is some evidence to suggest this is an efficient way to reach maximal contractions faster(it's not better but may be more time efficient.)
For a traditional split youll want to start with larger muscle groups first.

As for types of exercise, for something like arms, youd want to start in the higher rep ranges with lower weight, prexhaust(google it), then transition to lower and heavier.

you should be hitting each muscle group twice a week. Muscle only grows for 1-2 days post workout if you're natty, so doing a pplpplx routine is better because you aren't wasting 5-6 days not growing any muscle
