Hello google trained doctors and nurses of /fit/. I have some chronic pain right below my knee on the inside of my shins, both legs. Feels *slightly* better when I stretch, but pain/soreness comes back promptly. I rub it a lot and I can feel a sack or a clump or something moving around.
I was thinking bursitis, maybe shin splints or compartment syndrome. I thought it was from running but I took many months off and it hasn't really gone away.
What have I got and how do I fix it?

Go see a doctor you faggot.

I might. That would mean going to a gen practitioner and getting a pt or specialist recommendation though. I was hoping I could get some good anecdotal shit to try first.

Is it better or worse when you wake up? Do you feel it rigid when you wake up? How old are you?

22, pain is more of a soreness and its fairly constant. Playing the whole google doctor game has led me to "Osgood schlatter disease", going to research that a bit.
Fairly confident this is not shin splints as I've had those in the past and they were way lower on the shin.

Also maybe "Pes Anserine Bursitis", as one symptom is tight hamstrings and I've noticed the pain subside temporarily after stretching.
