No, it's more chemical shit. For what it's worth if I use it, it makes me ravenously hungry for DAYS afterwards, so I never use it anymore.

Try Stevia, it's natural and has no side effects whatsoever, been used for thousands of years.

Aspartame is just some sort of complexed form of Aspartic acid. I don't believe the hype that it's really that bad for you.

Either way, Splenda/Sucralose tastes way better. I used to buy the giant bags of it and use it in everything instead of sugar. It's some badass shit.
