How important is diet? What's the difference between meeting your protein goals and getting the same amount of calories by eating 'clean food' over stuff like pizza and burgers pls respond

"clean food" is a fairly meaningless term, and people often confuse "healthy food" with "food that's good for gainz". it's also easier to create a diet that gets you swole because you can experiment and see results quickly. it's much harder to figure out if something is healthy for you.

It's everything.

Easily lost 20 lbs with proper cutting and diet.

Couldn't do that with just exercise alone. I mean it's possible but it would have taken more effort and at a longer time.

I'd say the hardest part is making sure you get your macros without getting other things/excess fats, especially with pizza and burgers. Also with pizza/burgs as opposed to avo/nuts you'll be getting trans fats, and you could be getting more sugars.
