In any case, no, adding dips and rows won't fuck you. He generally recommends 2x6-8 for rows and dips tho, but that's based on (a) "I am of the opinion that a curl should be performed with every bit as much attention, focus, and intensity as a squat; (b) it forces you to use a weight that is far less than what you are capable of training with; (c) it promotes the idea that the movement being performed is an “assistance” or “accessory” movement, two terms that I hate." That said, do them however you like.

Well first off I was in the military doing nothing but training for a year, so I wasnt exactly untrained.

Also, I gained like 12kg the first 4 months, so if I hadnt gained tons of strength that would be a huge failure.

The thing is, I enjoy doing the lifts but I also like PL alot, do you think it's fine to learn them and program them into my PL program so I can maybe be pretty strong at them in a few years time.

your ascent is fucked, ass shoots up, you lose core tension all over the place etcetc. may be due to lack of tightness in the bottom, or some specific weakness or just you cueing shit wrong. either way at your level id just worry about making sure your squat in training looks good, a lot of it will resolve itself as you learn to tighten up better and just get more comfy with the movement in general

you should've seen the first one i shot (70kg), my back was completely bent in the bottom position

I'm doing the Hepburn routine (squats, deadlifts, ohp, bench) for four months now. Am I missing out on pulling excercises like bent over rows and chin/pullups or is it all right?
Keep in mind that my back is already very big.

I'm already doing dips (after deads and ohp), shrugs and lateral raises (after squats and bench) as isolations after the main excercises.
The dips are gold for ohp and bench while the lateral raises and shrugs are gold for my underdeveloped traps and shoulders.

So is it alright if I just add more back work to my next routine after I am done with Hepburn?

mind you, most of it comes from some dyels
it also happened that some swole guy asked what that exercise was when I was doing good mornings and then proceed to lecture me how it's "dangerous" even though I'm 100% sure my back was straight when I did it
