but if you are looking into running heres some tips.
Some good warmups before any run are high knees, dorsiflexions, all skips (a,b,c) and some striders (this warmup is usually meant for hiit workouts). For long distance runs just jog your way into the pace you want to run at.
If you are new to running i would start out with easy slow and long runs (not too long, but moderate), you MUST slowly increase your mileage per week so you won't injure yourself.
