My buddy and I are both tall, I went for the otter look and he went for strength and size. We motivate each other through dysmorphia. I feel tiny and weak when we lift together and he feels fat and unattractive. It works out pretty well overall to be honest.

Tfw had lifting buddy for two years, bulked together, cut together, made mad stronk gains. Hit lmao3pl8 on all three major lifts together. We barely get to lift together anymore and he's lost a lot of his gains. Found myself a new group of stronk lifters who are above my level so I can push myself. Still miss my original gym bro though

Whats the fucking point of having a gym buddy. I have friends who workout just as much as me, and i like talking to them about it. But i dont go around with them, doing the same exercises as them like 2 fags.

That's what I mean by gym buddy to be honest. When we lived together in uni we would go at the same time if our schedules lined up and shoot the shit between sets or run a superset together.

It also means suggesting new routines or exercises or whatever. But it doesn't mean being attached at the waist or anything.
