Once I got up to 365 a few weeks ago I could no longer a straight 5 reps, though I could not knock 5 singles with ~20 sec break in between. I bumped up to 370 anyways and obviously have the same problem. Today I'm deadlifting again, should I scale back to like 335 or just keep pushing?

Anyone know any ways to deadlift if youre injury prone? I got a hernia a few years ago and the mesh they used to repair it was poorly designed, apparently after about a year it develops the rigidity of a credit card. I can only pull like 190 and after that it starts to hurt like hell, im just wondering if theres a way to do it where it doesnt put so much strain on my lower abs
