Fit, what's your resting heart rate?

I'm usually around 42-45 with an all time low of 38.

Do you do 1 hour+ of cardio? That's what made my heart rate plummet.

>>

55-60 in bed, 75-80 resting in public
It sucks.
>>
21yo, usually 60, but it's gone as low as 55
>>
A more interesting question

What is your max heart rate? Have you ever tested it? Don't bullshit me with formulas
>>
I know mine is somewhat low.

Had a varicocelectomy, and everytime I was dozing off they kept rushing in because alarms were going off about my heart rate being too low. Then they asked if I work out a lot. Lol

Another time I was in the hospital for food poisoning (puked over 20 times, couldn't hold my shit in, said fuck it and went to hospital), and they kept rushing in every few minutes for the same alarm. I figured it would be normal to have low blood pressure in that situation but they asked if I workout a lot there too.

Aside from lifting, I ride a bike at the gym for 10 minutes three days a week. I hate cardio.
>>
>>36359349
58 atm in front of the pc
>>
>>36359349
42 and I've done fuck all cardio in the last 3 months
>>
>>36359349
66 in bed, I don't do cardio. 20yo
>>
>>36359349
I'm 25 and right now it's at 59.

Btw, use
http://www.all8.com/tools/bpm.htm
to tap your pulse, it's usually quicker and more accurate than the watch method.
>>
>>36359349
60 Bpm

Ex distance runner, I don't do cardio other than walking, sex, disc golf, jogging and sprints once a week, and occasionally biking, dancing or kayaking.

When I could run 5 minute miles it was only in the 50s
>>
Supposedly you're supposed to take it right when you wake up before you get up or anything. This finds your true resting heart rate. Mine was about 63 when I did this and other times it's about 70ish
>>
>>36359605
If they have to ask if you work out a lot, you probably aren't doing it right
>>
>>36359349

cardio: not even once
>>
40 bpm

Im a cyclist/runner
>>
mines weirdly low at about 40 with no exercise with very little cardio, it might be a medical issue :^)
>>
90 or so
My mile time is 7 minutes
>>
>>36359349
54-60, occasionally jumps to 80.
I used to do 5km runs twice a week for years.

>I run 1km every couple of weeks now, kek.
It just seems like a waste of energy going for a run when I could be lifting, and on days when I'm not lifting I don't feel like running.

if it doesn't causes you fainting or dizziness you should be fine.

It's called brachycardia btw
http://medical-dictionary.thefreedictionary.com/brachycardia
>>
Got it down to 40 with "effort" when I measured it myself. It was around 50 when I had myself checked at the doctors.

Check my pulse, it don't change.
Stays 72, come shine or rain.
>>
>>36359581
Nearly 200, can't remember exact number.
>>
>>36359546
That's pretty much how it's supposed to be. Resting literally means resting. Doing anything besides that will raise it a bit, even if it's just slowly walking.
>>
im 22 and always in between 48-52 or so #cardio
>>
>>36359349
something over 90 but I had some coke earlier
>>
>>36359349

This doesn't seem accurate at all. My heart rate after walking to the pharmacy (about 800 meters) is 55-65. I'm 32, and definitely not an athlete.
>>
>>36359367

RHR is a far, far better metric of general health than squat, DL, bench, or even a composite of the three. If I could use only one number to describe someone's overall fitness and likely longevity, it would be RHR.
