Hi /fit/ im a gym noob and a female. I started working out a month and a half ago, and 2 weeks ago I noticed I look like I gained a little bit of weight, not muscle!
The strange thing is I've been measuring myself a lot these 2 weeks and I still weigh the same.
I read somewhere that muscles can become temporarily bloated from the stress, especially in the cases of beginners. Is it possible that this is the case? If so, how long does it last, and will I look better after this phase? Currently I just seem like I've gained a few pounds but im still the same weight so it seems I haven't gained neither fat nor muscle.

yea that's what I meant, sorry. I eat a little bit more than before to "feed the muscle".
I work out 3 days a week nothing special. but since i'm a beginner every single muscle in my body hurts for 3 days after workout and the instructors just keep increasing the weights on everything (please don't ask me about exact numbers reps and routines I still have troubles remembering those)

why? I've never exercised a day in my life before this, I occasionally lurk /fit/ but all I see Is memes and regarding the food, I've been eating more meat and broccoli and stuff. Cmon help me guys, I didn't expect to be bloated and sad.

I'm writing down stuff I remember every time after gym, but the measures in kg and lbs are next to each other so I still mix them. We use kg where I live
