^This guy reckons you can lose up to 6.8 kg (15 lbs) p/week of body fat and water. Is he just talking out of his ass or is this actually possible without the use of drugs?
>>
>>36161274
Depending on how fat you are and how much carbs salt intake you are used to. When I did RFL 2.0 first week lost 6.5 kgs afterwards it was a steady 2kg per week till I stopped 5 weeks in. If you do any sort of lifting beyond 1/2/3/4 I would never do this again since I lost so much strength from upper body and had to build up 10 kgs of bench.
>>
I wonder, because I lost a bit more than that during two weeks of rest and junk food. I put the weight back on (muscle) the second I started hiking and cardio again. I wonder if I retain fluid like a motherfucker when I exercise. I've been fasting all week ( have not eaten more than 755 kcals between Monday and Friday) and doing an hour aerobics a day but weight is not budging. Could be fluid. When my Dr last switched by birth control I swear I lost 1/3 of my mass almost overnight and read that BC pills contribute to edema. Don't know about men though.

Do you reckon it's possible to get anywhere near the -5 kg in body fat if I do the right shit?

Fucking pic didn't post. This is my current body. I want to get to single digit bf. Don't care if I look like a skelly.

Generally speaking I go off what the mirror tells me and use the scales with a grain of salt. Best thing for figuring out if it's water weight or fat lost is tracking progress through photos of yourself in the same lighting.
>>
>>36161274
Yes, if you use a knife
>>
>>36161274
probably 4lbs of fat If you don't eat
>>
>>36161274
Let's say your TDEE is 2.5k kcal. In a week you need 17.5k kcal. A kg of bodyfat is roughly 7k kcal.

So in conclusion if you eat absolutely nothing for a week you lose "only" 2,5kg of fat. No idea on the waterweight you could lose though.

Do you lose muscle if you do cardio?

You can lose 15 lb per week of bodyweight, but not fat. When you lose weight only a portion of that is actually body fat. The other parts are things like water weight and muscle tissue. Your body will only take so much of your caloric deficit from body fat. This is why you can't/aren't supposed to go more than like 500 below maintenance and end up losing more actual body fat.
You guys seem to think your body magically only takes 100% of your caloric deficit from body fat, but that's not efficient for survival and not.how the body works
>>
>>36161274
The bulk phase is all wrong.

He should have ended chubby, then should have been another cut.
>>
losing 15 lbs per (ie: every) week is a lot different than losing 15 lbs in one week. You can manipulate your water easily if you know how. But eat shit if you think all of that fat is "water weight."
>>
>>36163257
Is the whole eating a gram of protein per pound of lean body mass true for staving off muscle loss?
Or am I giving myself kidney stones and a clogged ass for nothing?
>>
>>36164413
Idiot.

What do you think water and fiber is for?
>>
>>36161274
>15lbs of body fat and water per week
No. Doing a proper, sustained water fast with 0 caloric intake you can lose around 0.7 MAYBE 1 lb of fat per day. So max 7 lbs/week. The first week you could definitely lose 15 lbs of fat+water (I'm on day 3 of a fast and already lost 16 lbs), but once the water is gone you can't lose it again without gaining it again, and what would be the point of that?
>>
>>36161332
i dont think you need such an drastic measure to lose bf

you dont really have that much fat, you can actually see an little bit of your abs
>>
>>36167871
>if your TDEE is 6800
>Phelps burns 12000 calories per workout
Do you have any fucking clue what kind of fucking retarded bullshit you just said?
>>
>>36168057

Phelps does burn 12,000 calories in a workout.

This has rather little to do with the workout itself - it's all dependent on the specific heat of water.

The dude spends 4 hours at a time in a ~35 F pool. Water is 10 times more effective at sucking heat out of your body then air is. Thermodynamics being what it is, your body and the water are going to try to equalize in temperature. As such, that cold water is literally sucking calories out of your body to heat up - which causes your body to shiver and burn fat in order to increase it's temperature.

Cold showers aren't a meme, budday.
>>
>>36168094
So you are implying Phelps eats at least 12000 calories per day, every day. Are you crazy?
>>
>>36163124
Not if you swim or rowing machine

The days he trained, yeah. He did. It was all over the news because this country of fat-asses loves food.

HOW?!
>>
>>36168279

Next you're going to tell me you don't know how to activate your almonds.
>>
>>36165924
OP here. You're probably right but often you need to do something extreme to get an extreme result.

Would using pre-workout before gym achieve a higher fat loss rate on a 1500 cal diet?
>>
>>36168182
>enriched pasta
you want activated almonds with that?
>>
>>36164347
lean bulks are possible, just slow and difficult
>>
>>36168182
half a kilo of pasta for dinner lol. At least it's enriched
>>
>>36161278
How quickly did you regain your strengths? Studies have shown that star in yourself for a couple of weeks doesn't cause a significant loss in muscle mass, I isn't understanding is that you'll be a lot weaker because your glycogen is depleted. Did you lose a lot of muscle mass and did you get shredded?
