Frozen berries are a fucking godsent when you're cutting. They're sweet, cold, low in calories, high in fibre, full of anti-oxidants, vitamins, iron..
Any other good ideas for cutting foods?
Green tea
Black coffee
Bistro salad and balsamic
Banana

Pineapple. It's fucking magic in a can. Or magic not-in-a-can if you don't go the canned route.

Mushrooms brahs. Oven-baked, fried, canned, roasted, whatever, just but some garlic powder and parsley on top and you're in for a delicious meal for a rounding-error worth of calories.
>>36011560
This is true, you can add some dried rehydrated shiitakes to soup and it bulks it up and reduces the calories per volume of food. Plus they're delicious and all that vitamin D
>>36011560
Nice, this is a good idea.
>>36011270
They have a lot of sugar by ratio, but a most of their mass is in water and insoluble fibers. A quick check on Cronometer nets strawberries to be about 9 calories per oz, for example.
>>36011270
Actually, if you look at nutrition info for non-sugar coated stuff and don't eat a whole bunch at a time like a retard, it's not even that much.
I only eat them when I need to cook some homemade sugarless compote for Greek yogurt, or need a sweet, cold fix that isn't ice cream.
>>36011193
when you lot talk about cutting, what is the usuall daily caloric intake?
>>36011242
what the fuck is 'bistro salad'?
>>36011992
Yeah I'll concede 70 calories for an entire cup is pretty damn good.
>>36012002
That'll depend on a lot of variables.
I aim for something between 2000 and 2300. I'm 6'2, 225lbs and I work out every day (lift/cardio).

It depends on the persons weight, gender, height, and daily activity. Usually, people get by on a 500 calorie deficit which isn't too bad

>>36012134
Yes, unless you like losing muscle.
And I'm not saying this to be rude but since you even asked that question you're obviously new as shit. You could still make gains while cutting.
>>36011193
i personally like cherry tomatoes. Frozen berries aren't offered at my uni.

Yogurt is my cornerstone (greek yogurt + granola = best breakfast ever)
Coffee black

>>36012278
See, bananas and pineapple are a bit iffy. Yes, they are tasty and healthy but they're also rather dense in calories. For 1 banana I get 200g of berries which are more filling; or, if I wanted to, almost 500g of regular veggies (brussel sprouts, broccoli, carrots..)
>>36012203
thank you. and yes, that is what i am starting now. Up until now the weightloss has been from (swift) walks and eating a lot less. Now will start with weight lifitng

bistro salad usually comes premade and washed in packets in the fresh produce section. it's very cheap and has basically no calories. I mainly eat it as something to stave off hunger between proper meals.

Simple sugar is only really harmful in high amounts, especially as a liquid. Fruits have a lot of water and fiber which digest them slower, also makes you more full.
