Is it normal to gain 5kg in the first two weeks of lifting for a complete noob or have I overshot my caloric intake massively?
>>35629765
you shouldn't eat a lot
Did you weigh yourself under the same conditions?
I could easily "gain" or "lose" 2-4kg by weighing myself at incomparable times.
>>35629828
yep, every monring as soon as I wake up.
after a refreshing morning piss I step on the scales and become just slightly concerned over how fast I am gaining weight
>>35629765
Noobs gain about 2 lbs of muscle mass every month for the first 12 months.
5 kgs in 2 weeks is at least 80% bodyfat. You're not just bulking, you're going full fatass mode
Congratulations your weak body filled it's glycogen depots for the first time in your sad existence

> I overshot my caloric intake massively
there you go buddy, you are a smart fellow.
>>35629765
Yes. Water and glycogen.
Unless you're running a ~3000 kcal/day surplus.

I've gained 15 pounds in 2 months , am I going fatass mode?
>>35629947
>you are a smart fellow
not really because now I'm a fatty
people should tease and bully me for my drooping manboobs, not praise me for my sparkling intelligence
Water retention fucks me up bruhs.
I gained 2lbs in one day after goin hard as fuck and eating 1700cals

What I meant is that you saw your own error instead of blaming it on bullshit factors like "genetics".
>>35630046
I can't see anything now, the fat in my forehead droops over my eyes like a melted marshmallow

>>35630042
water retention fucks me up hahahahahahahahah
I can easily gain 13lbs in a day and then lose it the next
>>35630406
Not bad, aim for 500 surplus if youre a skellington
do you guys not fucking know how to spell skelenton around here jesus christ
>>35630473
Fairly skelly. That would mean I eat about 2.7k per day according to a TDEE calc.
>>35629993

>>35630467

Your body can't grow 5kg of muscle in one week
>>35630604
rich piana's can
Are you taking any creatine or preworkouts?
>>35631072
Creatine might be a bit much for your first steroid
It's your sustained gain past the initial spike that you need to watch, 5kg is on the upper end of extra water retention but not unbelievable.
