Dyel detected
You can build tons of strength in higher reps ranges, and powerlifters use high reps very often in training blocks to help with strength gain.
Although I get what you mean in a sense, because you wouldn't really prescribe a complete noob who wants a bigger bench to be doing only sets of 10-15
>>35597964
Well I don't think I'm dyel, I don't think I'm huge, but this is me >>35597933
And here's another pic I guess
My hypertrophy work is with Incline and other excercises, but not flat Bench
>>35597992
>only pulls 400lbs
>>35598048
Correct.
>>35597964
that was just an example for simplycity as in:
do heavy weights low reps
do ligher weights high reps.
which one is better to increase bench weight?
>>35598073
A combination of both, high volume is needed for a big bench.
