Fat guy here running IC 5x5. I would love to change my routine to focus on upper body muscles because my legs are already hugh. Any routine recommendations just for aesthetics and not for powerlifting ?

People make too big of a deal out of protein. If you want to actually make it and live healthy you should be hitting your micro nutrients aswell. Eat lots of fruits and veggies.

Not building muscle on a cut... you are clueless. That only happens if your body fat is below 15%. If you have a high body fat percentage you can build a fair bit of muscle while on a cut.

Your legs are huge because you're fat. Keep doing cardio.

You're going to be fine you'll still add muscle for the short term of things your biggest battle is calories. If you have a flat amount of calories you eat 1500 for example you will lose weight quickly then as you reach your goal weight it will shrink as your TDEE does proportionally. Calories in and out is way more important than anything else you're doing right now. Focus on that then move towards bigger and better things once you're done stage 1.
