How long should one ideally wait between sets.
Is it the same for every different excersize?

Depends on rep range and intensity.
High volume: 30 seconds to a minute.
Heavy weight: 3-5 minutes depending on how much you exerted yourself.
Ultimately intensity and volume is an inverse relationship. As your reps increase less rest should be needed because lighter weight is being used. Thus each rep is less intense.

90-120 seconds for me. Mostly 90 seconds. There's no real specific answer. Do what feels good for you.

It's probably broscience, but I stick to it. I pretty much always do 2 minutes though.
