Currently doing 30kg 12x3 DB presses, what does that translate into benching? I remember 1RMing 90kg bench back when I was a newbie, while doing like 22kg 12x3.

Why the fuck do you need a spotter when benching? If you're BB benching correctly you don't need a spotter lel. Also think about your max bench, divide it by two and the two Dumbbells should roughly equal your max ya tard.

That's not how it works. It depends on how often you do either workout. There is a certain level of "skill" involved in each exercise. Somebody who only does dB bench for years will push more with dumbells than a barbell.

The formula is double your dumbbell press, and then add 40% of it to the value. 30kg would mean 60kg + 12kg = 72kg. So you should be able to barbell bench that for at least 10.
