This shit is confusing me I weighed the mash potato after cooking and it is 488g but satchet is 100g of instant mash before cooking so how many kcal is in this satchet?
Are you eating the whole thing? Then just count the whole thing. Did you use butter? If not then the whole thing is two servings
So why does it say 100g is 84 kcal but half the pack is 209kcal :/ so is it cooked weight to determine kcal or uncooked?
The whole things is 418kcals COOKED.
It doesn't matter, you shouldn't be eating that shit anyway.

because you will get 500g of FINISHED produt, which amounts same as 200g of unfinished product (which is the 209kcal)

Don't worry about the weights if you eat the whole thing. Just pay attention to how many servings it says it has

Shit is a good side to make chicken and broccoli able to bare for more than a week

Thanks for the help guys one more question I should weigh frozen chicken after cooking too since it loses weight yeah?
Why don't you just mash a spud?

Instant mash is dry potato flakes. Obviously adding water will increase the weight but not the calories
>>35286368
Its just more for convenience and timesaving I suppose

>good side
>418 calories of almost all fiberless carbs
Don't get me wrong, I eat instant mashed potatoes too. But I shouldn't, it's not very nutritional at all

Depends on the nutritional info you go off of. It should say if the weight is cooked, uncooked, frozen, etc.
