when benching i find it hard to squeeze my chest so my chest isnt growing

once you reach ~250 for sets of 6-8 you'll feel it (i'm not saying that doing sets of 6-8 are the best way of reaching it)

What naabs don't tell you is that you can't really squeeze pecs with DB's when locked at the top. When your arms are stretched perpendicular with floor, you can't really squeeze em well. Same goes for the bench, except that you can have a squeeze feel, which actually helps you lift the bar, i.e. trying to bring your hands together, but obv not being able to.

So to get a good squeeze feel - with db's, with flyes and when starting the movement up to about your arms hitting a 70°-80° angle, not at the top.
If you want the squeeze at the top, you need to use cables. Then, at the starting position all you do is stretch, and you squeeze when your hands are close together.

So either cable flyes or cable crossovers.

And always remember, practice squeezing your shoulder blades, and also try to go as deep as possible, stretching your pecs to get'em joocy.
