Progression. Allows you to create your own routine or use a few default ones. Everytime you do a workout it shows you below what you did previously for that exercise. Apart from maybe auto regulation it has everything you could want in an app.

try fitnotes, it lets you create your routines with comments, choose sets and reps, increment value, rest timer. It has a calendar that makes it easier to copy your previous workouts with sets, reps and weight you used. Best features are various graphs to show your progress. It also allows you to set goals and tells you how far your are of achieving them

It tracks you with GPS and gives you achievements and shit.

I work with a woman who lives and dies by her fitbit, she's always "getting in her steps" and walking the stairs regularly and all that shit. After like 3 days of her noticeably being off her schedule she's asked what what the deal is.

Lets you add exercises, choose sets, reps, etc and form workouts from them.
Paid version keeps a graph, as well as showing your previous weights/reps for the exercise youre currently doing, tracks your weight, does a shit ton.

Your phone must just suck desu. I have an S6 and the SL app runs totally fine. Although I will say that SL is kind of gay because you have to buy it for 10 dollars to make use of a couple of features (custom lifts, custom rep and set schemes, etc). But if you are just getting the SL app to actually do SL, it's pretty damn good.
