I started going to the gym about 8 months ago when I realized the counseling wasn't doing jack shit to help us out. The gym helps me get rid of stress. It's a chance to get away from all the bullshit I have to deal with at home. It's a place where, even though I don't say anymore than "hey" to the regulars, I feel accepted. It's a place where I can put on my headphones, and go into a different world where I'm actually happy.
