its for your long-term shoulder health, idiot.
if you want stronger back muscles, do rows and pull ups.
if you want stronger shoulders, do ohp.
don't go on a slow winding path to snap city because you don't like benching with proper form.

Why do they all wear fedoras with shit clothes? I'm genuinely curious.
>>34867685
A person dumb enough to think a fedora will convey style and intelligence despite their other short-comings (obesity, extreme ignorance of social norms) is so lacking in self-awareness that matching dress levels isn't even something they would think to think about.
>>34867756
m8 that's a high class nigra wearing a fedora with a black shirt, red tie and leather ovecoat, so stfu faggot. You're probably a cringey fedoratheist too.
>>34867756
Your picture is obviously a relevant to continue to memeing, but I need to write this out so that I understand how I feel.
My objection isn't to the fedora itself, but rather to the type of person that unironically wears it the way most of the stereotypes do. This type of person is unkempt, overweight, poorly dressed (which isn't a great affront on its own, but is completely ridiculous when the identifying clothing is a dress item with the history of the fedora) would likely qualify for aspergers, and has a sense of superiority despite being generally close minded and uneducated on top of all of these things.
I reject the the statement that I have a problem with a fedoras, and posit instead that I have a problem with the people lacking self-awareness that typically wear them.

>weighted dips
>The thing is, people substitute the power clean for rows, but they are completely different exercises.
>SS doesn't have PC instead of rows, it has CHINUPS instead of rows (which are arguably a better back exercise).
>You can still do rows with SS, you just substitute the chinups for them. Changing the PC to rows is like changing the squats for incline bench press.
>A: Squat Press DL
>B: Squat Bench PC Chinups/rows
>Now, people say PC is useless if you're training for strength or aesthetics, but that's complete nonsense. PC trains your legs and posterior chain really well, not to mention it's the best exercise for the traps besides the barbell shrug (which is a variation of the power clean). PC is like doing lighter DLs, but with the bonus of training your power at the same time and extra traps development.
>Besides all that, it also gives you a very important skill: the ability to get the bar from the floor to your chest. DLs can take the bar from the floor to your hips, and the press can take the bar from your chest to overhead - but without the clean, you're helpless if the bar is on the floor and you need it higher than the deadlift.
>Two major examples of the usefulness of that:
>Being able to do the Press without needing a rack.
>Being able to do Incline Bench without a spotter and without having to take the plates off and put them back again everytime you do a roll of shame.
>Besides, I really don't get why people are so afraid of trying PCs. It's not even hard to learn.
