Sandow is natty limit. Even if we consider that his diet and training methods were likely not optimal, he lifted and ate with dedication for basically his entire adult life (he started lifting some time in his teens, and most of the famous picture of him were taken in his late 20s/early 30s).

A modern natty lifter might attain Sandow's physique quicker than Sandow himself did due to superior diet and training, but it's unlikely that they would meaningfully surpass it. Once you hit the "limit" gains basically stop, regardless of how on point your diet and training are.
