First to second year:

They typically feel better about themselves because they can deadlift 2,5-3x their bodyweight and they're soo strong! Meanwhile they get out of breath when walking to the grocery store or have the flexibility of a treetrunk. (I'm so strong and fit fuck yeah mark rippetoe rocks!)

And they'll justify always picking out the easiest ways by saying something along the lines of:

"It's bad for your joints" or
"Why would I want to do oly lifts that's retarded"

All in the meanwhile they open threads about: "Hey guys what supplements are best? I actually started off doing PCs, but one of the personal trainers at the gym where i go told me that my technique was whack and that i'd be better off doing the big 3 and some easier compounds to start. So i did, since I don't want to injure myself. I plan to learn PCs as soon as i find a good teacher, but so far i've been out of luck.

I separated both shoulders and found that snatches really helped, once I was able to go light. I'm now at a 1.25x BW snatch with no pain.
