I'm 22, 6'0 and weight 53kgs (super thin).
Ideally I'd like to weight 65kgs (max), but i'm not too fussed. I mostly wear blacks, greys and whites and can pull off minimalist fashion quite well.

Pic related - not me but almost identical.

I want to wear skinnier pants and more tailored shirts than my current body fat % and crazy fat distribution can support. I get almost all my excess fat around my hips and thighs despite being a guy.

No idea, I mostly wear OCBD and raw jeans, I suppose it wouldn't change a thing.

I can't believe how skinny most of you guys want to be. It looks shit and I doubt it's very practical. Clothes look better on people that aren't super skinny (not talking about fat persons)
>>
I feel the bigger in size a guy becomes, the more limited he'll be in fashion. I've never seen a fashionable muscular man that isn't dressed in dadcore.

Is it possible for, say, a bodybuilder or someone who gyms regularly (for muscle mass) to be /fa/?

I'm pretty happy with it atm.

I normally wear slim/skinny jeans/chinos with casual shirts buttoned up with peacoats/bomber/biker jackets. normally wear sneaks, chelseas or military boots.

i used to wear tricky ricky but i think i've outgrown that style and now prefer a more contemporary look.

why is it important in the year 2k14 to be at a certain weight or to be at a standard size?

Certainly, we are not still hunting for food nor do we need excess body fat to cope with the cold.

More importantly, where did this standard come from? Is it wired into our brains over millions of years in evolution that somehow being bigger means being more attractive or stronger?

A growing portion of humans are no longer needing to do heavy lifting or manual labor thanks to advances in technology. Did no-one stop to think that artificial intelligence will eventually take over menial low-level jobs?

We live in the digital age here. Smaller is convenience and bigger is no longer better.

I think 60kgs and 6 feets fine. I think 6'2 would be ideal
>How does this translate to your choice of style?
Generally it just does. I never am gonna be super buff anyway

I lost a lot of weight recently (was 80kgs start of this year) and I'm starting to look a lot better. However the slimming down has been disproportionate, the belly and thigh area have been losing fat a lot slower than the rest. i hope the last 4kgs I lose help rid of the gut I have. I think bad posture plays a part too.

good job on the weight loss.
I think you have lordosis (pretty sure you do) which is making ur back arch inwards hugely and poking your stomach out way more than it should be. if you fix this you'd look a lot slimmer
>>
>6'3, recovering anorexic so fuck defining
>6'3 whatever the fuck so long as i'm fit

>>
>>8682324
Yeah, but you should adopt a more minimalist style to draw attention to your body rather than your clothes. It looks fucking stupid wearing floral shirts with bright pants if you're actually built. Just wear a nice-fitting (preferably plain) v-neck or crew, polo, or OCBD with the top 2 buttons undone. Pants/shorts shouldnt matter just don't make them patterned, bright colors still okay as long as theyre worn with plain shoes and shirt.

I just wear simple stuff like tshirts and shorts, simple colours, no intricate patterns.

I try to dress masculine rather than like a fag, because most of the men at my uni look like fags

But I don't think women ever notice or care about my muscles so I don't bother trying to show them off.

OP here.

All anons over 70kg - do you think it would be easier or harder to be fashionable if you weighed less?

At what weight range would you consider aesthetically unpleasing? i.e is it possible for someone that weighs <50 or >100kgs to be legitimately considered /fa/?
>>
>>8682684
it's not about weight, it's about your height to weight ratio, your bone structure (e.g. bitch hips) etc.

but if you're lighter than 60 kg chances are you're entering skeleton zone, lighter 50 kg is just auschwitz

who the fuck wants to be /fa/??
the whole of /fa/ right now is fuccboi general. you guys talk about everything in the most superficial way and if you attempt to sound smart it's even more cringe inducing.

inb4 gb2 reddit or whatever. I came to /fa/ about 2 years ago and it did inform me. It was a good stepping stone but that's all it is. It seems and knowledgeable posters have gone to better things. Right now I follow all these blogs for design and go on other forums which show users who have a real acquired knowledge of what they're talking about. Meanwhile here people are still making "Rick General" only to talk about shitty memes and abusing "drapery" and "amazing silhouettes"
idk why i come here anymore.

Same, but healthier. My hips/thighs manage to flab up even though I'm underweight, makes finding fitting jeans difficult, but muh curves.

I can't seem to make my legs/hips look right so I just wear skinny jeans, button ups, pullovers, etc. Height makes short heeled boots acceptable, but nothing over 3 inches or I start to tower and make manlets uncomfortable.

I honestly do not know where this really ends up. I come from a line of top heavy, stocky, short men. Even if I were to get to 130lbs, I would essentially be a very effeminate looking, broad shouldered man.

Maybe that is an ideal in a way. Oh, I try to wear muted colors and keep trim silhouettes. Not really sure if I can pull off flashier colors, or styles without looking very small or compensatory.

Wouldn't impact my style, just want to feel less self concious about wearing a t-shirt on it's own. Sticking to constantly eating even the recommended 2500kcal a day is hard when I don't eat junk food and eating a lot for months on end is a fucking hassle.

Maintaining a 2000-2500kcal diet for a while now and put on 4kg (used to be 60kg) Hopefully just eating normally I can get up to 68-70kg which is well within the average weight for my height which I should achieve without "bulking"

HAHAHAHA, how can you really think that? If you are free from heavy work is because other people do it in farms or factories. It's still cheaper to exploit people than to buy some machine and keeping it working.
There is no need for AI when you have millions of people dieing to do any kind of job, even more if it includes being in front of a computer instead of sewing shoes in cambodia. If there were computers to do menial low level jobs more millions would lose their jobs, they couldn't buy stuff and the economy colapses. You need people being exploited to have good stuff.

There are plenty of athletes and movie stars who are well above ottermode or skelly level that are very /fa/. As far as bodybuilders go, nope. But I have seen some really big football, baseball, and MMA athletes very fashionable and well kept. It's probably harder to find clothes that fit them better, but they can pay more for custom fits I guess. And I'm sure NY and hollywood have designer stores specifically tailored to athletic males.

If you're talking about Ahnold or Jeff Seid, then probably not. But really all they need is jeans, good shoes, a nice watch, a tight fitting shirt and a cool hat to be /fa/

I usually dress in a way that doesn't really show my weight. It kind of amazes me that I don't look 170 because the weight usually goes to my butt and boobs but whatever. I have a somewhat flat tummy and toned thighs so I'm pretty happy with how I look for now but I am currently losing weight. Usually wear maxi skirts, dress pants and oxfords. I can pull off anything really but steer towards more of a professional outlook. I think clothes like that compliment my body more really even though I'm still in highschool and get shit for dressing like an adult. I just feel more comfortable and more approachable (which I am).

I wear long sleeves whenever possible because of skinniness, I'm not skinny to the point of people assume I'm anorexic but I prefer to wear sleeves. I tend to go with cuter styles, circle skirts, loose tank tops and cardigans. I never really wore black until last year but I'll be getting more of it.

Current: 6'1, 155 lbs, size 13 feet
Ideal: 6'1, either 140 or 165 depending on losing fat/gaining muscle, Size 9 or some shit

I have huge hips so I think that I need to gain muscle rather than going skeletonmode. gonna try and drop another 15 pounds and then bulk up. Fuck these feet tho makes finding shoes impossible and throws off proportions

Height: 6'1 or 2
Weight: 162 lb
I'm content with my height
Ideal weight: 145 lb
I need to wear certain jeans so it's not so obvious how thick they are, and my arms are skinny as hell yet my ribcage is huge so none of my shirts fit

I wear monochrome colours, tall tees and skinny jeans, it works I guess.

Desired: 135 pounds

It would make me smoother and leaner which translates to a more refined look. But that applies to most styles so...

>What's your ideal weight/height?
105 lbs/48 kg and 5 ft or 152 cm. I've always wanted to be shorter. Short girls are cute. I'm looking to bulk up and gain some muscle/fat as I've been very skinny (due to illness) my whole life and it's not desirable by any means. Guys really only care about tits and ass, being super skinny is not at all worth it unless you're still blessed with assets.
>How does this translate to your choice of style?
I avoid heels because they make me feel tall. Odd, I know, since I'm not really, but I dated a guy who was 5'7 once and he'd go on about how unattractively tall I was if I wore any form of heels. I wear a lot of skirts and dresses because you just can't look hot with my body, only cute.
>>
>>8702800
He did that because he knows that women are attracted to men taller than they are and if you artificially increase your height you also artificially increase how tall men need to be to produce feelings of attraction in you.

If you had put the heels on there is a good chance on an emotional level you'd have become much less into him and much more into other dudes.
>>
>>8702831
I wouldn't say I care that much. If anything, all he did was come off as insanely insecure and in return make me insecure about my height. I don't like tall heels so I was never actually taller than him, he just didn't like being "close" in height.
>>
>>8702800
same.

Never really thought about it. Would like to have more muscle weight but just don't care enough to do anything about it.
>How does this translate to your choice of style?
I wear pretty much all skater clothes because they're comfortable, fit good, and are functionable. I do skate, but its only a coincidence that I like the clothing.
>>
I'm 17, 5'9", and 140-150 lbs depending on the season.

competitive swimmer (2+ hrs/day) so i'm ottermode and pretty happy with my body and also its functionality

i like rick, geller, kapital, stone island etc, so as long as i'm reasonably slim it works fine. don't need to be waifish for those.
