Yeah Raeburn is big on repurposing military garments, so those jackets are pilot's pressure suits cut and sewn into new patterns. Helmut Lang did something similar a while ago but I'm having trouble digging up the images. You can get these on eBay for ~$150 and cut em up yourself if you wanna be like based knoch.

I went to my local GI Depot yesterday and while they didn't have very much worth getting (there was one (nylon?) flight suit that I liked (I don't like the canvas ones), but I'd kind of rather just have pants. Yea it looks alright by itself but it's definitely bordering on costume territory. The bottom half especially is too over the top, and the boot tuck is... bad. I think the jacket and long sleeve are not too overdone (sleeves could be shorter) but the jacket is actually a bit ugly.

eh, I feel like lunarcore definitely relies on a strong piece of footwear, something that pops like a hightop or boot. I've seen those in person and I just don't think the silhouette/profile would work even though the colors are good.

Said yesterday I want to do a DIY pair of cargos with GP5 bags for the pockets, now I'm wondering what a good top would be to go with them. Thinking of making both at the same time. Want to do something original, but still inspired by this other shit. Thinking of making a longer coat, like a space frock coat.

I can;t draw for shit, but I get really neat ideas in my head, I just wish I could put them down somewhere so I could actually make them. Should probably start off with simple shit, but I kinda want to make these cargos.

I'll keep posted about them in lunarcore threads once I start. Still have to figure out how I want to do them. Was looking at the Julius cargos as inspiration, but I don't think I'll go black on them, and I'm not sure how tight I should make them. I do plan on making them from scratch, except the GP5 pouches.

Anyways, any feedback on this would be appreciated.
